About Us

Our Founder, Kenia Dilone

Kenia Dilone was born in the Dominican Republic and has been based in the USA for more than 20 years. She is a licensed cosmetologist with experience of more than 30 years, with studies in biology and chemistry under her belt. She decided to create her own line of hair care products due to the many challenges she faced with her client's hair care routines and available suitable products. One of the challenges often presented is the versatility and mismanagement of different textures of hair across different backgrounds and ethnicities. The dissapointment of hearing her clients speaking of their hair as, "my kinky hair " or "my curly hair is so hard to manage," motivated her to do more about it. They would often ask "Oh, what product can I use?" or "I don't know that anything works for me." She even had the experience of being rejected from a salon because they did not know how to deal with the texture.

These were the main reasons Kenia produced products that embrace different textured hair, to show it the love it deserves. KDHair NORGPLEX was created for women who find their hair to be difficult or not special. Allowing all women and men to rock a healthy head of hair, have it be curly, short, long, kinky, or straight, all texture and curl patterns are welcomed. Your texture challenge is our challenge. Kenia dedicates 30 years of on-hand skills and studies in biology and chemistry to help you treat and understand your healthy hair journey providing people like you the tools and products to feel beautiful inside and out.
